FAQ's
Our FAQs will give you the information you need to purchase and install your own security door.
Yes, all of our doors come with a full weather seal automatically.
To figure out which door frame is going to fit your doorway you’re going to need to measure both height and width.
To measure the width, measure three times. Once at the bottom, in the middle and again at the top. Though these measurements should be the same, if they differ slightly, use the smallest measurement.
Similar to measuring the width of your door, you also want to measure the height of your doorway in the same way. Measure once on the left side, once in the middle and once on the right side. If there is a difference in the measurements then use the smallest measurement.
These two measurements will make up the dimensions that you need to determine which door frame you need.
The standard cylinder comes supplied with 2 fitters which are used during installation, 1 master key and 5 keys which can be used on a daily basis. Unfortunately you can’t obtain additional keys with this type of cylinder. The safety marked security cylinder upgrade comes supplied with 3 keys and allows for additional keys to be cut.

Yes, the frame and door hardware kit are needed. The door hardware kit ensures that your door is securely fastened to the structure and enhances resistance to forced entry. A steel security door is also considerably heavier than a regular door, so the frame is essential to support this weight. Not only this but our frames integrate with the multi point locking systems in our doors. Therefore, both items come with your door so that there are no weaknesses in your new security door.
Stainless steel typically is both shinier and stronger than galvanized steel. Security doors are made from stainless steel due to the superior strength, corrosion resistance and longevity in high security environments.
