Assembly Instructions
Putting up a new door has never been easier, just follow our guides for a perfect installation.
1. Remove the Door and Prepare the Frame
1.1. Remove the door by lifting it off its hinges.
1.2. Place the door frame in the opening.
2. Adjust the Door Frame
2.1. Adjust the door frame to fit the opening by tightening the 6 bolts with a 12mm Allen key.
2.2. When adjusting the door frame, do not over-tighten the Allen keys.
3. Secure the Door Frame
3.1. Drill through the center of the Allen key bolts into the block work using a 10mm drill.
3.2. Ensure the door frame is square and plumb to prevent the shot bolts in the steel door from jamming.
3.3. Use 6 appropriate fixings (depending on whether you are fixing to brickwork or steel) to secure the frame in place.
4. Reattach the Door
4.1. Place the security door back onto its hinges.
4.2. Check that the gap around the door and frame is equal.
5. Install the Door Handles
5.1. Fix the 2 screw connectors to the outside handle.
5.2. Insert the spring into the spindle drive, followed by the large shaft.
5.3. Fit the other spring and the smaller shaft to the inside handle, ensuring the spindles are inserted correctly.
5.4. Secure the inside handle with the 2 screws. Avoid over-tightening to prevent jamming the lock.
Your security door is now fully installed and ready to use.
